As a small team of two we traded from Torrens Road, Regency Park as State Distributors for Philips Communications.
Won the Kakadu National Park tender in partnership with BAE Systems. Our solution included a multi-site remote area, solar powered system.
Established a new office at South Road, Hilton to cater for our growing team.
Won the Uluru National Park tender. This 5-site network was installed in Australia’s harshest environment.
Connection to the Internet improved the way our business operated
Icom became a technology partner
Opened our current office at 508 Goodwood Road, Daw Park. Our Service Department was launched.
New service workshop built to cater for the growing demand for repairs, service, installations and maintenance.
Acquired RW Electronics
Our business operations expanded to include 506 Goodwood Road, Daw Park – a second office block.
Won the Adelaide - Darwin rail project
Awarded runner up in the Telstra Small Business Awards
Revenue reached 6 times the sales of our inaugural year
Won the CFS fireground communications contract
Established MPT1327 network on behalf of Vertel which provides multisite radio coverage across the Adelaide metropolitan area
Formed a technology partnership with Tait Communications

Won significant contract with the Royal Automobile Association for system replacement
Designed and implemented a wide area radio network at Prominent Hill for their above ground operations
Designed and implemented a wide area radio network for the Iluka Jacinth Ambrosia Project’s above ground operations
Tetracom’s team reached 20 specialised staff
Formed technology partnership with Motorola
Tetranet network established. This was Adelaide’s first digital trunked network.
Achieved accreditation with ARCIA
Designed and implemented a radio network to support APLNG’s construction of a 530km pipeline
The Orion Network was launched. This is Australia’s only national digital trunked network.

Rebranded Tetracom with new image and website
SwiftComm software system implemented to achieve improved efficiency in customer service
Won the 'Supply and Installation of Tactical Communications Equipment' contract with the South Australian Country Fire Service
Acquired the business of Broadspectrum Communications Division
