June 30 marks the end of an era!
30th June 2017
After almost twenty two years Tetracom founder, Jeff Perry will be stepping down from his position as State Manager within the business. Jeff started Tetracom in 1995 and through hard work and dedication has built a successful and trusted South Australian business. With projects that have spanned the country and a dedicated team, it is no wonder the business has grown substantially over the years to become South Australia’s leading radio communications distributor. Jeff has worked in the communications industry for more than 35 years and has been a key contributor to the growth of the radio communications industry in Australia.
Some highlights over the past twenty years that Jeff will always remember as key milestones (although being the business owner he recalls them being daunting at the time) include opening our current office in Daw Park in 1999, being awarded runner up in the Telstra Small Business Awards in 2002, negotiating and winning two CFS fireground communications contracts in 2004 and 2015 (still the two largest contracts awarded to Tetracom) and the joint venture with a South Australian site facilities company in 2005.
Jeff will be taking a well-deserved holiday around Europe and we wish him all the best on his travels. We will still see Jeff around the office as he moves into a consulting role, with almost 22 years of business experience his advice and guidance will be welcome. We hope his new relaxed role will see him spending more time enjoying the things he likes such as playing tennis, enjoying a bold Shiraz and tinkering in his garden.
